Easton's One Year Appointment
Today Easton had his one year doctors appointment and he measured 78 cm up from 71 cm at 6 months. He is in the 90th percentile for height.
He is now 22 pounds 5 ounces up from 18 pounds putting him at approximately the 40th percentile (40 percent of kids his age are lighter and 60 percent are heavier) and his head measurement is now 47 cm up from 44 cm.
He has grown quite a bit over the last 6 months! 7 cm in height, 4.5 pounds and 3 cm around his head.
The appointment ended with him being so brave taking two needles, one in each thigh. These shots included Measles, Mumps and Rubella, as well as Meninggococcal Group Conjugate.
He was not happy about it but slept at his regular time for his nap however it was only for one hour instead of two.
There seems to be nothing causing him pain and he went to bed tonight like normal.
The doctor told me to watch him for 10 days for a chest rash or a fever.
To compare Hadley at a year, she was 17 pounds 2 ounces, and she was 72.5cm tall with a head circumference of 45 cm.
