Red Day and Hadley's First Best Friend

Today was red day at school.  Hadley has been talking about red day for weeks since she learned about it.  So yesterday when I had an alarming realization that she didn't own any red clothes... I went out shopping!
She went to school today in a red shirt, red pants, (pink socks) and her hair in two french braids with red elastics.  She was very red!
Hadley even took Sarah (her baby who has a red dress) to school.  She had to show something red to the class.  She was very excited to take her to school.

She came home from school today excited about the kite she made and said that she wanted to know if her best friend Alyssa could come over to play sometime.  I think she had a good day!
She loves school.

I should point out that up until today she has wanted to follow Naleah in line to her room but she does always talk about Alyssa and we hung out with Alyssa at the BBQ the other night.

doh! I found her red and white socks today. Oh well.
