Pickering Bicentennial and Ontario Place

This weekend was a busy one.  Saturday we spent the day in Pickering at the bicentennial celebration.  There was a release of 200 butterflies (Hadley opened up her butterfly container and then watched it and photographed it) and lots of booths, crafts, and face painting.  There was also a dog race going on which Hadley loved watching.

Later that day our friends Ryan, Jenny and their boys Owen and Spencer came to spend the night.  After the kids were in bed we enjoyed some board games and good conversation until way too late.

Today (Sunday) we had a fun day at Ontario Place.
The story:  In the summer while visiting my sister in Port Elgin, Brian put his name in a draw while we were at the beach and he won 4 tickets to Ontario Place.
So we shared these tickets and spent a beautiful day outdoors together.
The kids had so much fun going on all the rides.
The water rides were closed but we had plenty to do with the other rides, a Barney show, a Hubble 3D Imax show and much more.
It was a good day.
Both kids fell asleep on the way home.  Both kids woke up just as we got them in the house.
While I was upstairs with Hadley, Brian was downstairs singing to Easton who fell asleep in his arms.
Beautiful.
