Crazy
This week has been absolutely crazy!
It all started Friday night. I headed to Listowel with both kids and stayed at my dads house while Brian stayed home to get ready to fly out on Sunday night for work to Detroit.
Saturday Brian joined us for the day in and around the Listowel area but then drove back to Ajax to get ready for a week away for work.
Sunday we headed to Port Elgin for my nephew Jayden's 3rd birthday. (His birthday is actually September 9th but with the twins due in September my sister wanted to make sure he had his birthday party in advance just in case).
I was really happy to be able to make it to his birthday this year as last year we made the decision not to go since we thought Easton was going to arrive.
I was a little sad though that I missed Lindsay's little boy Henry's 1st birthday party. However, we have made plans to celebrate at a later time.
Jayden's party was good, and I was able to catch up with some family and I always enjoy watching Hadley and Jayden play together.
On Monday we headed to Washago where we enjoyed some much needed Muskoka relaxation time with my friend Shaye. We spent some time at the beach, at the park, and at her beautiful home.
Wednesday we headed to my friend Chrisitne's house in Newmarket to see her gi-normous new home - with pool. On a beautiful 2 acre lot. WOW!
They treated us to a swim, a BBQ dinner and good conversation.
Thursday after getting home I had a playdate set up with my friends Joanne and Theresa and their 6 children (three each) in Ajax, and then today a playdate with my friend Lori and her 2 kids at Tumbles and Toys.
My plate was full but it helped the days pass that Brian was away.
I am excited for him to come home. Only a few hours to go.
