Grandview for Easton
Today Hadley and I took Easton to Grandview for his first appointment. After waiting so long for Hadley's first appointment I decided to put Easton on the waiting list early just in case he needed their services also for his speech. However, the wait was just a few months and at 10 and a half months he had his first appointment.
They watched him play seeing him make eye contact and making ehh noises to communicate.
They had no major concerns but did advise that in the next two months he should start clapping, waving and adding beginning sounds to words. For example for the word ball you should hear him say the B sound. So I know what I should be working on with him and we will check back in with them in a few months.
