Mike and Heidi's Wedding
This weekend we went to Mike and Heidi's wedding. We started the day at Brian's uncle Paul's house where we had a BBQ dinner and we watched as the rain poured down outside. Then at 7pm we headed over to the farm where the outdoor tent wedding would take place. We parked in the mucky field and ran for the tent. The rain adjusted their original plan of having the ceremony on the back deck to in the tent on the dance floor but it was still nice. They are beautifully suited for each other and I couldn't be happier for them.
It was quite the high-school re-union really.
Kinda fun to introduce our kids to old high-school friends and meet their kids.
It was a really fun time and the kids stayed up late. Easton stayed up until almost midnight and Hadley until after 1am. Both in GREAT spirits.
I truly love how our kids adapt and go with the flow.
Shawn A. and Bubba showed up in their blue and orange suits (see the movie Dumb and Dumber) and somehow it didn't seem out of place.
The music was good and we stayed until the end.
It was also quite nice to stay the night at Brian's uncle Paul's house since it was so close to the wedding location. There was a local farmer who brought his tractor to help get the stuck vehicles out of the mud.
