Reminiscing
This week it has been my mission to go through Hadley's clothes from 0-12 months.
Why?
My sister is due to have the twins soon and if she has a girl or two... I am hoping to help her out with some of the clothing. I was blessed with a lot and it is a huge cost savings if you don't have to buy all new clothes.
So, I took the time and went through the three bins and narrowed it down to one bin of clothes that I would like to keep. The other two bins worth of clothing will be passed along to make their own new memories.
Why am I keeping a bin of clothing? Perhaps to pass on to Hadley one day? Perhaps to let her use for her dolls? Perhaps I am just holding on to those memories with something tangible? I don't really know.
Whatever the reason... I have them packed away and the rest can go to Mandy in case there is one or two wee little girls born.
Maybe she will have twin boys and it won't matter but it was kinda fun reminiscing about each outfit and the experience that went along with it.
Hadley was so small.
A quick story: Hadley had some onsies in the bin that was labelled 7 pounds. I remember specifically we had to go out and buy these because the 10 pound onsies were WAY too big after she lost a little of her birth weight of 8 pounds.
This is funny to me because Easton was 9 pounds 7 ounces at birth and the 10 pound onsies were just fine for him even with the weight loss just after birth.
