Kids CBC Day
Today was a great day out with the kids!
Last night we went to Toronto to stay in a hotel with Brian as he was there for work. Then this morning we got up and headed to the CBC building (while Brian went to work) to enjoy the Kids CBC Day.
There were all kinds of crafts, a horse and zebra show, story time, computer games, stage shows with Sid and Patti the kids CBC hosts, the guy from Artzooka, Huckle from Busytown, The Doodlebops, and much more. It was a very exciting day for Hadley. She planted sunflowers, jumped in the jumpy castle, painted, puzzled, danced, coloured and we still didn't have time for it all.
It was from 10am until 2pm and we enjoyed every minute of it.
Easton even got in on the fun. He loved playing with the toys, eating the books... I mean reading the books, and listening to the music.
It was such a hot day at nearly 38 degrees celcius. I was glad that almost all events were indoors in the air conditioning. The day broke heat records.
Still I was determined to enjoy some outdoor time so we walked back to the hotel. (About an hour walk). Then enjoyed ice-cream before I gave the kids a cool bath to clean up and cool down.
What a great day!
