July LONG Weekend / Stephen and Jessica's Wedding
Canada Day is not always attached to the weekend but this year it was; making it a long weekend. Other years this may have changed out travel plans to something a little farther from home but not this year. This year we spent our Friday (Canada Day) in Ajax. We started the day by watching the Royals, Will and Kate, on TV as they were visiting Ottawa. Then we headed to the festivities at Rotary Park. Easton enjoyed the fresh air as we walked down by the lake and Hadley enjoyed the fun of the jumping castles and petting zoo before we drove into Toronto. My sister and her family were at the Jays game so we decided to meet up with them for dinner.
Following this we headed to Whitby where we enjoyed a fireworks display that went late. Easton made it until 10:30 pm but Hadley was awake for the whole thing. Both loved it!
July 2nd was not a slow day either. We headed to Brian's cousin Stephen's wedding.
Hadley was smitten with the bride. She couldn't wait to see her walk down the aisle and later couldn't wait to dance with her.
In fact Hadley was very popular among ALL the wedding guests. She would dance with everyone and wander around tables talking with all that would like to hear her stories.
Easton was called cute all night long.
Both kids were awake from morning till night... 1 am. With the exception of a 20 minute nap for Easton.
We were very happy with the spirits of both kids.
It was great to see everyone and a good time was had by all!
Big congratulations to Stephen and Jessica.
Today... Sunday... a day of rest. (In fact it is noon and both kids are still asleep).
