Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Father's Day)
All day Thursday was spent at Yorkdale Mall with my brother and it was awesome. I had a list of things I wanted to buy and I got all but two crossed off. Most shopping is hard to do by yourself with two kids if you want to try anything on. So with the help of my brother my list was slowly taken care of.
It was a great day of visiting too.
Friday we had our friends Ryan, Jenny and their kids Owen and Spencer come over to enjoy a day at the zoo. We spent all day outside and enjoyed dinner out at Montana's. Mmmmm steak! They spent the night and the kids played wonderfully together. After the kids were all in bed Shawn K. joined us for some gaming fun. We tried out Blokus for the first time. It was a late night.
Saturday we had a house full of visitors. After Ryan, Jenny and the kids left we had Brian's dad and Patti-Jo join us for an afternoon visit. That evening Brian's mom also came for a visit. We had Brian's mom hold down the fort while we tried out our new tent in the backyard. It is a huge tent compared to our old one and it was a lot of fun to camp out with both kids. A good test before going away with the kids this summer.
Sunday was a most enjoyable day at Centre Island including time at Centreville. This was a Christmas gift to Brian's mom from us and she ended up treating us also by celebrating Father's Day with us! It was a great day! The day included a ferry ride, a lot of walking, rides, ice-cream, beach time and a nice dinner. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. The kids were well behaved. And the exclamation mark on the day was Hadley doing a summersault in the sand just before we left the beach... while wet. :)
