Hadley's Dance Recital

This week we were quite sick but we pulled it together enough to get Hadley to her dance recital. On Saturday night Grandma Verkley, Aunt Julie and Auntie Shaye joined us in the front row as we watched Hadley perform for the first time with all the lights and music. (Pretty Women). The show's theme was "Welcome to Hollywood".

She was SO cute. Her costume was hot pink and black. The tutu part was hot pink with black satin ribbon through-out and then the top bodysuit part was ruffled black. She had big smiles on stage and afterwards and seemed to really enjoy herself! Plus I think she was proud of what she had just done on stage. I love that!

We ordered photos, and a video but they don't come in until August.
Hadley was presented with many flowers and loved that Mommy and Daddy got her special green flowers!

The dance studio also presented her with a certificate of achievement.

Great Job Hadley!

Oh and the best line of the night from Hadley was "Mom, are these the flowers you get when you get married?"

Hadley did look really cute and it was good to see her dance. It was also nice to spend time with all of you guys, even if you were sick.
