Hadley and Easton ISM's
Things that are going on with Hadley at the moment:
This past week we had dance pictures at her dance studio. She was very excited to put on her costume but when we finally did we found out that it was itchy. (So on my to-do list is to figure out how to fix that).
Hadley was very excited that my first hat knitting project ever is now complete. I made her baby Emily a knitted hat. (I am actually quite proud of this).
Current shows that she enjoys at the moment are Bo On The Go, Rob the Robot, Making Stuff and Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog - she love the theme song for this and stands to sing it. (Making Stuff is my favorite of these). She will now watch Are We There Yet. (I think she likes that Brian and I can say that we have been to most places they are exploring. This is also one of my favorites).
Words that are still not quite right but super cute: May May = Mayonnaise, Clail Nippers = Nail Clippers, and Skissors = scissors.
Now for things with Easton:
Easton LOVES to roll a ball with us. I think I have rolled a ball with him more times in one session than I have in entirety with Hadley in her whole life.
He loves to laugh and is very ticklish.
His voice is super cute. Even his cry is cute. It is a much lower sound than Hadley's.
His balance is very good while sitting. If he falls backwards he catches himself with his hands and holds himself there while waiting for us to rescue him. He leans forward quite far to reach for things while in a sitting position.
He doesn't love to be on his stomach but will do it for small amounts of time.
While I am holding him he plays hide and seek with Brian. He buries his head in my shoulder while giggling.
When Brian tries to take him from me he grabs on to any clothing material he can and he holds on tight.
Easton has about 3 hours of sleep in a day which is sometimes all together and sometimes in two naps. He is now sleeping in three hour intervals through the night. Which is actually an improvement.
He doesn't care for food AT ALL... except for pears, Baby Mum Mums, and bread sticks.
He plays well on his own beside me while I do chores.
It is fun to reflect on the things going on with each kid.
Comments
1. He now sits up in the grocery cart. This is awesome because now I have way more room to fit groceries.
2. He loves to hold my hand while he nurses. I can't believe I forgot this one. It is one of my favorite things.
