Dirty Pie
Hadley and I have planted some vegetables from seeds which we have had to transplant into bigger pots and will hopefully in a few weeks need to transplant again outdoors.
I had a few things that I was hoping to show her in doing this.
1. Where food comes from.
2. How to do work now to reap the benefits later.
3. That it is okay to get dirty.
The big accomplishment today was when she just started playing in the dirt. Now... most parents would say OH MY! Not me. At least not today. I was so excited for her. Hadley does not like to get dirty and yet today she had so much fun moving her dirt around into different dishes and adding water and rubbing it all over her clothes. (Okay so that part was where I silently said OH MY)!
But she was so dirty and enjoying every minute.
Ahhh, to be a kid!
