Sight words

I was recently talking with Brian's aunt about her homeschooling and she suggested I look into sight words.  So... I did.  I found a few sight words online and printed them out.  I put them on the table with tape on them and said to Hadley that she could tape them to the window if she read them.  SHE LOVED THIS IDEA!  So, on the window we now have the words to, you, on, is, and, me, a, and the word I.  
I let her put up: he, was, of and we, but these four words were not as easy for her as the others which came instantly as she sounded them out all on her own.  
Thanks for the tip Doreen.  I think I will look for some more sight words when I get a moment. :)

She has "he,was,of,we" now.  She read them last night before bed to me.  She was so proud of herself.  I couldn't stop smiling, not because she could read, but because she wanted to read.
