Swimming Lessons - Sea Turtle
Tonight Hadley had her first swimming lesson. At first I am not sure she understood that she would be going in without us. So we arrived early and I showed her where we would be sitting so she could see us through the glass window.
I took her in and met her lifeguard / teacher Korrina. (I think that was her name).
There were four kids registered to one lifeguard. Only three were there this week.
I was excited and anxious before she went in and was very happy to watch her having such a good time.
She easily showed off her skills of bubble blowing, and movement in the water. She was totally comfortable in the water.
We could tell that she was definitely not shy and was talking through the whole lesson, but we couldn't hear what she was saying. However we did watch a number of high 5's. :)
She was happy this lesson was in the small pool. (That may or may not be the same each week but she was definitely happy about this).
They put on floating devices and pool noodles were tied around them while they each took turns practicing their floating.
After the class I met up with Hadley on the deck and we took her out to Swiss Chalet for dinner.
She told us all about her lesson and confirmed that she was looking forward to going back.
