Cookie Exchange
I just got back from my first ever cookie exchange. Each of us was supposed to bring a half dozen 'cookies' times ten in individual containers.
It took me two days to make 5 dozen goodies for the exhange.
I love to bake with Hadley, it was just a bit tricky to manage the amount of time it took to make so much in one go.
We brought chocolate haystacks.
So tonight at the exchange we opened up one of each of the containers which we enjoyed together over cider, wine, coffee and tea. I had the cider. SO GOOD!
We also exchanged all the recipes.
Some were super creative like christmas light cookies with different coloured frosting, some were store bought (yummy chocolate candy cane bark), and some were recipes that I had never heard of before.
All fun! I love my mommy group!
