Welcome Wagon, Midwives, Numbness, and Shopping

The local welcome wagon came yesterday to drop off a bag of stuff.  Mostly coupons etc.  However I did get a certificate from the mayor just like I did with Hadley.

Today I had my first appointment at the midwives office with Jenni.  Brian was away today with work so I did this on my own with the two kids.
Easton is doing great!  He is back up to birth weight at 9 pounds 7 ounces.  His head is developing just as would be expected.  The hearing test will have to be done next time as he was wide awake when we got there.  (They like babies to be asleep for this).
His eyes have blocked tear ducts but we are told this will just flush itself out in time.
I weighed myself today and I have lost 17 pounds of the 50 pounds I gained throughout the pregnancy.  I will have to get back to weight watchers soon but I just don't feel ready yet.

I have an odd numbness in my two pointer fingers.  It is more like swelled finger tips.  The midwife said there is nothing that she can link this to pregnancy for and telehealth was good for nothing when I called as they just told me to go see my doctor in a few days as there was nothing that they could diagnose over the phone.  After doing some reading online it seems I just need to drink more water and wait a few weeks.

I went shopping today for a few necessities.  (Two stores and I was done with shopping).  Next time I will need to take a stroller as carrying a bucket with a baby in it, holding a 3 year olds hand and then carrying bags is hard work!

The numbness is mostly gone so that is good.  :)
