Grandview Update for Hadley
It was time for our 6 month update with Grandview this morning.
We did a few tests for words, and grammar and found some new things to work on.
From the time Hadley started to talk she has occasionally talked out of the left side of her mouth. To help with this we are going to try to practice the oo and oh sounds in front of a mirror. Words like food and no.
The S blends are also words we need to work on. Words like SPoon and STar. S blends are words that have S plus another consonant.
The G and K blends are also words that need some work. Words like GReen, and CRown.
They have set up a 6 week program for kids that have the same kind of things to work on that starts in October but since that will be just after the baby is born they have set up private one on one classes with Hadley for November. (So nice).
Again she is within her age range for her speech but since they have classes set up for exactly what she needs to work on, we might as well take advantage of them.
