Car - Seat
For about a week now Hadley has officially changed how she says car.
She has always called it a par, and just this week Brian was showing her a flash-card with a car on it with the word spelled out on it. She spelled out the letters then said the sounds for car, K-ah-R and then said car. Then "corrected" herself to par, and smiled.
However, after that there was no turning back. She has used car ever since. We knew she could do it as she could say carpet and a few other words with the hard C at the front of it. We have been repeating back to her the correct name all summer but now she calls it car and the habit is broken of calling it a par.
Most likely the visual was all she needed to break this cycle.
Oh, and on the subject of cars...
The baby car-seat is now in and ready to bring the baby home from the hospital. :)
