Hearing and Bowling
This morning we had Hadley's annual hearing test done. There were a few small tests done with her pointing to places on her body and repeating what she had heard. As well there was a quick inner ear exam. All is well.
Then this afternoon we joined the Ontario Early Years Centre in Ajax for Hadley's first time bowling.
I showed her a few times how to stand on the little dots and how to put the ball on the floor and roll it and then she was like a pro with a score of 59 after 8 frames. (With bumpers). Instead of the 10 frames we were only able to bowl for one hour. It was $3.
Special note: Hadley waited patiently when it wasn't her turn and helped to reset the pins if necessary with a manual button. She loved having the roll of helping with the resets.
We were joined by Hannah and David and I think the girls had a lot of fun in their special bowling shoes in the glow in the dark atmosphere with fun music playing!
It was so much fun for me to show her this new activity. :)
