The Doig's Visit
Today Hadley and I met up with Megan, Rob, Anne, Louis as well as some of Rob's extended family at the Toronto Zoo. I was happy to tour them around and show them the animals. Anne really enjoyed the tigers. Louis reminded me what it was like to have a newborn around.
The highlight for Hadley today was a rare treat of beavertails by the polar bears. She said it was kind of like eating a donut. :)
As well Hadley also thoroughly enjoyed a visit to Stingray Bay. She LOVED touching the stingrays! One splashed her and she loved telling her dad about that later.
It was so much fun to watch her engage in this activity.
One thing to note: 6 hours at the zoo today proved to be a lot on my pregnant body. The evening consisted of very low key activities. (Reading, TV etc.).
