ROM - Royal Ontario Museum

Today we decided to take advantage of the free afternoon at the ROM that they offer every Wednesday from 3:00pm to 5:30pm.
Once we arrived we immediately got in line for The Warrior Emperor and Chinas Terracotta Army exhibit.  For an additional fee of $7 per adult and $3.50 per child we were looking forward to seeing this exhibit.
While in line someone came up to us and gave us one free adult and one free child ticket.  LUCKY!
However, before we could buy one additional adult ticket the tickets were sold out.
So we went to talk with the concierge to see what they could do.  Success, they sold us one additional adult ticket.
When we went to get our tickets scanned to enter, they told us that two of the tickets had already been used.
Bahh, so now we had one adult ticket to a sold out exhibit.
So, Brian went in while Hadley and I went to explore the dinosaurs, the bat cave and the kids zone.
She loved the kids zone where she dug up dinosaur bones, tried on chain-mail coif, and played with a castle in the under 6 section, plus much more.
While we didn't spent much time at the ROM together, we did enjoy sharing stories later at Gabby's where we had dinner.
After dinner we spent some time walking around a nearby park, listening to a tuba player, and watching parkour jumpers practice.
