Me Time

It isn't very often that I get time alone.
Today Brian, Hadley and I went to Explore and Discover Greenwood conservation Area with the Ontario Early Years Centre.  It was good fun to make a bird seed craft with Hadley before Hadley and her dad went on a hike to hang it up for the birds.  A pine cone, lard and red river cereal.
The hike was described as a bit of a feet so at almost 33 weeks pregnant, I stayed back in the shade and read my book.  The weather was PERFECT!  Cool shade, a nice cool breeze and warm weather with a beautiful view.
It was a half hour or so of just me and nature and my book.
Don't get me wrong, I love doing things with Brian and Hadley, but this was a nice treat.
They came back hot, sweaty and happy.  They had collected flowers, and other things that we put together on a sticky clear surface and then covered it with another piece of the same stuff to make bracelets!  VERY COOL.
Hadley even brought me special flowers just to show she was thinking of me on the hike.
