Busy few days in Listowel

On Thursday, Hadley and I headed to Listowel to help out with Lindsay's baby shower.  There were decorations to get up, food to prepare and games to play.
We enjoyed showering Lindsay at Sarah's house before her baby is due to arrive in just 4 weeks.
Janie made an amazing cake shaped like a onsie.  Along with this there were some other fabulous foods to try while we enjoyed the company of the guests.
Lindsay was also grateful for the beautiful gifts she received.  :)

Friday we spent the day with Brian's mom.   We went for a walk to her small park but with it rained out with puddles everywhere we decided to drive to the big park which was drier. Hadley loved the time there.  I was a bit in shock when we drove by my great grandpa's house only to find it was torn down.  (My dad told me just a few days before but it was still a bit of a shock).
We also went to check out the new Giant Tiger for some shopping and then we enjoyed some KFC for dinner.

Saturday was my cousin Natasha's 30th surprise birthday party.  She was definitely surprised.  I am not sure how many people were actually there.  (Quite a few though).
My aunt Charlie arranged for Brad James to sing LIVE for us for a few hours.  He was quite good.
The party was mostly outdoors except when it really rained.  At that point we enjoyed food and cake indoors.  Then the party went back outdoors for a campfire.
It was good to catch up with my mom too.

Sunday we continued to catch up with my dad (we slept at his house the entire time we were in Listowel but only saw him for short times each evening while we were there).

Glad to be back home and back into routine.  It was a tiring couple of days but good fun!
