The Auction - swimming in the back yard
Well, I have never been to an auction before so today after checking out the Rands Road Garage Sales (found nothing), we headed to Kahn's Auction Barn to check out what it was all about.
The viewing started at noon and the bidding started at 1pm. We got a number just in case but this was more of a learning experience than a buying experience for us.
In the big orange barn just north of Pickering we sat in our chairs as we saw a few things go for amazing prices. Other things, well, you have to know what things are worth.
Still it was fun to see what it was all about. I think I would go back when I really was looking to buy furniture as most of it was show room stuff from builders houses or antiques. Quite nice!
Hadley got free snacks and drinks from the auction assistant and she loved that!
We drove through the country roads on our way back to Ajax which was also quite nice. :)
Tonight after dinner Hadley actually swam in her little pool rather than just play with the water in the pool. It was a great temperature! It was fun to see her truly enjoy the water, twisting and turning, splashing, and just getting everything wet. She loved it!
