Canada Day
Canada Day was busy.
We started the day celebrating Chaylee's daughter Blair's first birthday.
From 10-1 pm we enjoyed some time outside, a BBQ lunch and cake. I can't believe she will be one on the 16th! Wow, the year went fast!
The afternoon consisted of a walk around Rotary Park to enjoy all the activities the town put on. There was live Entertainment - all day long, Inflatable rides - Hadley loves jumping on them!
We saw the Petting Zoo and the giant inflatable beaver as seen during the closing ceremonies at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
Wes, Julie and our family came home to enjoy a roast beef dinner with cheesecake for dessert. mmmmm.
The Legault family met up at our house before heading to the fireworks.
The kids played for a bit and then we went to Iroquois park in Whitby and met up with Beth and Chaylee and their families to play ball, and frisbee before enjoying the fireworks.
Hadley loves fireworks. She kept saying KABOOM!
Such a fun day in our own community! Happy Canada Day!
