My First Massage
After meeting with my midwife the last time she suggested that a massage or chiropractic visit might be good for my sore back.
I thought massage sounded less invasive since I have never had either so I looked into my options.
With no benefits at the moment I took the advice of my midwife to check out MEDIX School. These are students who are learning but need patients to practice on. Their supervisor comes in once during the massage to make sure everything is okay or to answer questions from either me or the student. The best part is that it is $30 for an hour instead of $60 -$80.
However, the EVEN BETTER part is that my appointment last week was cancelled due to the masseuse calling in sick... SO... I got a free massage for the inconvenience. It was one hour of pure bliss tonight.
They have locations in Kitchener, Brantford, Toronto, Scarborough and Brampton.
