so behind... so behind.
Blogging is great, and it is easy to do, but one does need to .make. some time to do it. With baseball and parties, and such, I know it sounds like a cliche, but we are really never home. Not complaining though.
Last, last Friday, Saturday, Sunday morning - Bender Lan Party.
Another great party. I think this one had the most people we've ever had. I don't know if the competition is getting tougher or we are just out of practice, but there wasn't the domination we often see. All the games were quite close. Little sleep, but lots of fun. I'm already looking forward to next years.
Last, last Sunday afternoon - Cole-Duncan Wedding Shower.
We hosted a guy-girl wedding shower for Lindsay and Jamie at our house. Who knew we could put 28 peple in our dining room for gifts and games while it rained outside! Thankfully the rain was short lived, and we could get out for a BBQ later in the afternoon. We had a great time. It was certainly the biggest party we had ever hosted, but it think it went well. There was lots of food, fresh tree-picked plums, and sufficient beer. I'm not going to say it wasn't work, but it was _really_ nice to have the honor of hosting their Toronto shower. The smile on their face at the end of the day made it all worth while.
Last week, two baseball games ending in a loss. One more game to go. If we don't win it, the season is over, early, and out of the playoffs. At least there will be more time for blogging...
