Swimming ... in the big pool
Today after a fun filled visit with Julie (playing with Hadley's toys, and a BBQ dinner), we headed to the McLean Centre to join Annie, Larry, Norah, and Conner for a swim date.
Hadley is a little fish!
I managed to find a bathing suit to fit into and we had great fun.
Hadley loves the water. By the end she was crouching down with her head under water and jumping up like a jack in the box. She loved seeing our reactions to this. She also would walk along the bottom and move her arms like she was swimming. She practiced blowing bubbles and walking slow on the deck and enjoyed herself immensely.
Another new thing tonight was that she wanted to try out the big pool.
She has been in deeper pools before but not at the McLean Centre.
So Brian and I each took turns allowing her to jump into our arms into the deeper water and she loved it!
She also laughed and giggled when her dad took her under the mushroom waterfall.
The only disadvantage for her was that the toys were supposed to stay in the smaller pool. She didn't mind at all that the bigger pool had colder water.
It is so fun to watch her in the pool because she loves to swim so much!
