Pumping Gas
Yesterday when we were out, we came to the situation of low fuel.
Normal. It happens.
Anyway, Hadley "helped" us find the gas station and then when Brian asked her if she wanted to help pump gas she agreed.
I think he was surprised by this, but after the offer, as a parent you have to follow through.
So, at age three, she assisted her dad in pumping gas into the car.
Brian did the points card, and the visa part, then she pushed the button for regular gas, and then they both held the handle and waited.
I think Hadley was surprised by the click at the end that tells you the tank is full.
When all this was finished she watched Brian put the nozzle away, and put the cap back on, but then she closed the gas flap.
What a great little helper.
