Flowers for Hadley from a boy at Rotary Park

Today at the park, Hadley received her first dandelion flower from a boy.
All I know is that his name is Carson and that he tried to block Hadley from going anywhere in the park even with me right by her side.
One time when she went down a slide (I was at the top right behind her), she accidentally slide on top of the dandelion she was holding because she was trying to turn around because he was at the bottom.  This kid was FAST!
I quickly went down behind her to help her out.
His dad called him away and then a few minutes later he arrived with a new dandelion for her.
Hadley thanked him but didn't really want anything to do with him.  She was just glad to have her flower back.
I am guessing he was around 5 years old.
He wanted to do everything she was doing and she just wanted to play within her own space.
To give her some space we went down to the beach to build sand castles and throw rocks into the lake.
Guess who followed?
At least he continued for a walk down the beach which suited Hadley just fine.

Even with this craziness, it was a great day to spend outside after a few days of Hadley having a fever of 103 F or 39.3 C.
After the park we went to the Early Years Centre to do some crafts; which she loved.  It was a butterfly theme day!  She turned bread into two triangles and then put a carrot in the middle.  Then she decorated and ate her butterfly creation.
She also made a caterpillar by using accordion folding paper supplies.   There was colouring, painting and a few other things as well.

I think she felt great to get out of the house.
