Earth Day
Today aside from a trip to the Real Canadian Super Store and Walmart, Hadley and I went to the park and then the Early Years Centre. At the centre we used pine cones, sand, feathers, sticks and other outdoor things to paint with to celebrate Earth Day. (I think Hadley loved painting my hands more than the paper. She giggled like crazy). We read books about the earth and later we enjoyed time outdoors with bubbles, and she even learned (kinda) how to play eye spy.
For eye spy, if I was picking something she would keep guessing until she found the right thing, but if she was picking something, she would say, I spy with my little eye something that is green. Look mom, the grass is green.
Still fun!
It was a fun day with the girl.
