5 days in Listowel

On Tuesday I traveled to Listowel to stay at my sisters so that Hadley and I could join my sister and brother and Pat to go to my mom's Dr's appointment in London on Wednesday morning.
The Doctor had relatively good news.  The cancer they found in my mom a few months ago has had no growth.  It is still  2.5cm in size.  So, where it stands right now it looks like she will be having surgery the first week of March (TBD) to take it out.  It sounds like it may take a month or maybe a little more for recovery but then she should be back to normal.
Also to note:  my mom has quit smoking and is now on day 18!  I am so proud of her!

On Thursday Hadley and I spent the day with Brian's mom and her friend Jane.  We enjoyed good conversation and good pie!

Friday night we had dinner with my dad, Brenda, Amanda and Joe at the Anchor in Listowel.  The food was good as was the atmosphere and conversation.

Saturday we helped my mom move from Exeter to Fordwich.  She wanted to move closer to her family in Listowel.

While in Listowel this week, my sister also sold her house.  She didn't really mean to, but it happened.  How you say?  Someone made an offer on her house without it even being on the market and the offer was too good not to accept.  So, now she has plans to move at the end of March to a rental, and then build over the summer.

It was a crazy busy couple of days!

Oh, and Sunday morning we drove back and stopped in at home for only a few minutes to pick up a birthday gift for Ethan!  We then drove to Whitby to celebrate his 3rd birthday.

Today we tried to do normal things.
Hadley and I went to Playday Mondays in the morning, we got groceries and then went for a walk to the park in the afternoon.
