Christmas with the Verkley's
From the 26th to the 28th it was Christmas with the Verkley's.
On the 26th we got together with Brian's mom, grandma and sister Julie, with Lisa and Jeff on Skype. We enjoyed spending time together and opened gifts. We were again spoiled.
On the 27th after staying over night we spent the day with the Stock side including Christine, Tim and Lucas from England and Steven from Calgary. (Steven surprised everyone by coming to town. So much fun!) Among others that live closer. It was a full house but good times and good food.
We also snuck in a short visit with Lindsay and Jamie. Much to short but hopefully we can get together again soon for a longer visit.
The 28th was a little more intimate at Brian's dad's house but it still had that warm Christmas feel with even more food.
I am thankful for my eight or so Christmas gatherings with friends and family but man... I am tired and my house looks like Christmas EVERYWHERE.
Much cleaning in the near future!
