May 2-4 Long Weekend
Another successful Long Weekend in the books.
Friday night was "Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith". ooohh, so good. I should have blogged separately about that. So much to say. Acting, eh, Story, oh ya.
Then on to Mom's to see Mom, Grandma, and Juile ! It seems that we have been seeing Grandma on a regular basis lately, but Juile, now that is a treat ! Thanks for putting that Spongebob Squarepants song in to our head Julie; it brightened up the rest of the weekend.
Saturday we were off to the Cole cottage as we do for the first and last long weekends of each summer. Saturday was relaxing, then some Karaoke, then hot tub, and a late night swim in the lake. Sunday was recovering, relaxing, badminton, cards, hot tub, and a late night swim. Monday was recovering, cleaning, a walk for garbage tags while breaking in our new hiking boots, and a long long drive home.
The cottage is always a good time. Lots of people there this year, some of which I have some interesting photos of. I should post them somewhere.... anonymously. :-) Too bad Jamie couldn't be there this year.
All in all, I give it 22 empty beer bottles out of 24.
