Jays Home Opener

Leanne and I took Dad and Patrick to the Blue Jay's home opener last night.  It was a GREAT time.  i love the openers.  lots of festivities before hand and it is always a packed house.

The seats were pretty good... field level on the third base side, three quarters of the way to the fence.  The crowd was really in to this one.  an early twins lead didn't dampen the spirits.  jays came back and the whole house was rockin'.  the 9th inning was a standing ovation thoughout.

the new recruits did well.  molina hit a towering home run to the 5th deck.  the biggest cheer was for BJ Ryan though.  He didn't disappoint either, finishing the side 3 straight.

As the crowd spilt out on to the street it was crazier than new years. (well, not in NYC, but, you know.)  Singing, cheering, yankee hating (even though we just beat the twins).

great great great time.

who's comin' to town next?  let's go to a game !

I guess you should have went to their second game too - they didn't do so well without you cheering them on!
