Cabbage Patch Kid - Presenting Martha Erica
When Hadley was only a few weeks old my best friend Lindsay hosted a baby shower for her in Toronto. It was here that Lindsay gave Hadley her first (and only to date) Cabbage Patch Kid.
Well, we left her in the box due to small accessories until today. It says 3+ on the box but I think she can handle the soother accessory that she came with. Hadley found her today and expressed great interest in opening her up. She was so excited!
So today we proudly announce the adoption of Martha Erica. Her birthday is tomorrow. :) Perhaps we should have waited until tomorrow to open her but we couldn't see the date on the birth certificate until we opened her up.
It is so much fun to watch a two year old get so excited!
I told her that she couldn't open her without her dad so she went and got Brian and grabbed his hand and brought him to Martha's box.
(I knew Brian would also want to witness this excitement).
She waited very patiently as Brian gently released her CPK from her living quarters. She loved Martha instantly.
