Bits and Pieces

While Hadley's hair is still very fine, it is thickening and so two pig tails (I think I have been out voted on calling them pony tails) are now very common as they keep the hair out of her eyes.
Tonight while she was sleeping I put them in braids.  This is the only possible way to put braids in her hair.  We took pictures but her hair is really too fine to hold the braids for very long so she can't wear that style yet during the day.

Hadley is now really trying to link words.
Popular ones are:

Side Down - Up-side-down
Up Peas - Up Please
Hep Peas - Help Please
Oh No - Oh No
Oh dee - Oh dear
Sit dow - Sit down
And her favorite:
How You - How are you
(The conversation is usually "How You? I say "good".  Then she says "fine").

Dress up is very fun for Hadley.  She especially loves to add socks to her stuffed animals.

Drawers.  Hadley now knows where the BBQ supplies are kept if we say we are going to BBQ, she will go get them.  She also knows how to get socks.  (See above).

Green is still Hadley's favorite colour.  She calls it Breen.

Potty training is still in progress.  BAHH!

We switched Hadley to 2% milk this week.  This allows her milk to be shared with the family.  HOMO milk is REALLY thick!

At play group it doesn't matter which snack I pack, Alicia's is always better.
This works out because Alicia likes Hadley's snacks way better than her own also.

Winnie the Pooh and Piglet are her favorite little toys to carry around the house.  She calls them Pooh and Pig.  They are the same size as her hands and were originally bath toys that also came with a Tigger.  (She loves Tigger but he is left in the bathroom for bath time).

Minnie and Mickey and baby Tad are new favorite stuffed animals.  Alicia also has these.

Puppets are also really fun for her.    She likes the muppet type one that I made.  (Papaya).  But she also really likes the ones at Playday Mondays.

"Brown Bear, Brown Bear" and "Bear Wants More" are favorite books at the moment.

She loves all of her Little People and especially loves to have me pretend to knock on her little house door and climb up and down the stairs and have them go to sleep in their beds.  If she introduces Pooh and Piglet into the mix and we are playing with her, she always plays with Pooh and Brian and I always get Piglet.

Feeding the fish has become a new favorite thing to do each evening.

Outdoor fun.  Sidewalk chalk is always fun.  While there are many colours she almost always gives me the pink chalk.

Today we filled her kiddie pool and she played with her water toys for a long time.  She even put her feet in.  One at a time for about 1 second each;  but she did it a few times.

Summer is coming!
