Verkley Visit
Yesterday after getting home from Music and Movement I found out that we would have a surprise visit from Brian's sister Julie in just under 2 hours.
Let's just say that Hadley loves showing Julie all of her new accomplishments and toys. This was a very nice surprise visit.
Julie spent the night and joined us for Books on the Run at Lyndeshores Park.
We got up and were at the park for 9:30am. We listened to some great books being read to us, sang some songs and then went for a hike.
We did the 0.5KM trail with Patti, Alicia and Julie.
The birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and ducks were VERY friendly and there were a lot of them.
Hadley thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife. She would point out birds, and chase whatever was on the path.
Later in the afternoon we received a phone call that we would be having another surprise visitor.
Hadley's Grandpa Verkley (Brian's dad) would stopping in on his way back from Nova Scotia where he was visiting Brian's sister Lisa and her husband Jeff.
This was nice as we sat outside (on a beautiful day) and got to hear first hand about his most recent adventures.
Hadley played with water and water toys, then she switched to playing with ET and her stroller. This kept her fairly occupied while we enjoyed our conversation.
