Elmira Maple Syrup Festival and my dad's birthday
On Saturday while traveling to Listowel for my dad's birthday, Hadley and I stopped in at the Elmira Maple Syrup festival.
While I wasn't sure if I was going to stop in or not, I found a parking spot right downtown and it was free.
Hadley and I got bundled up, and made the trek around the tents sampling and enjoying the ambiance in the VERY cold weather.
This was my first time at the festival. While I did enjoy it, I think it would have been much better in warmer weather.
Anyway, we got to Listowel that night in order to stay over and get up early to do breakfast with my dad the next morning for his birthday! After breakfast we spent some time in his backyard talking and enjoying the beautiful weather before the drive back to Ajax.
