Nightmares, animal noises and a few other new things this week

Is it too early for nightmares?  The other night Hadley woke up saying NO NO NO.  Perhaps she was just exercising her NO independence?  But she seemed pretty asleep other than she was standing and saying no.
I picked her up, and she was instantly asleep again.
In the morning she was her regular self, handing over the white and orange stars out of her lucky charms.  (I am not sure why she doesn't like to eat these ones but she always hands them over).

New... green is the new red.  (See Red is best post).

At the zoo this week I noticed so much more interaction from Hadley with the animals.  It was like she realized now that she had something to share back with me.  This is very cool.
I noticed that they have moved some of the exhibits (fish etc.) and have put out some more of the free flight birds.  Hadley loves the close encounters with these birds.
Hadley has also now found a love for donating to the zoo.  There are little donating bins that allow you to race money into a pit.  So now we enjoy a penny race when we go.

At Music and Movement class this week Hadley really got into the Sticky Sticky Sticky Bubble Gum Song.

We start by patting our hands on our knees... then we sing:

Sticky Sticky Sticky Bubble Gum
Bubble Gum
Bubble Gum
Sticky Sticky Sticky Bubble Gum
Sticking our hands to our (insert body part, Hadley usually picks her head)
And we pull (we pull our hands away from that body part)
And we pull (we pull our hands away from that body part)
And we pull (we pull our hands away from that body part)
and POP!  (Hadley says POP and claps her hands together).

And repeat.

Hadley also now knows a lot of animal noises including: cow (mmmau) dog (ruff), cat (yeow), sheep (baa), bird (tweet tweet), horse (no), frog (ra), chicken (buck buck), lion, tiger, and bear (roar), monkey (oooh ooh) and fish (she pops her lips together).

There are always so many new things to evaluate in her life.  It is beautiful to watch.
