The Library
Since the new year Hadley and I have been going to so many programs and they all seem to be at the Library.
We have Music and Movement which is my favorite program of all of them. The music is up-beat and Hadley gets to run off energy that she wouldn't normally be able to use at home. Plus she loves it! This is put on by the Early Years Centre.
Then there are the programs that the library actually put on. 1. Books for Babies which we have done many times in the past but it is still such a good program. 2. Story Stretchers. This is a new program for us and the leader is great. He does about 10 minutes at the beginning that has a Sesame Street feel. He holds up a letter and then shows different pictures of things that start with that letter. Then there is a peal and stick game and then a colouring / cut and paste craft. (This is my second favorite program).
The last program is called tales for twos. I don't love this one, but it is okay if we need something to do for free.
There is a lady that reads a few books and does one finger play, and then a small craft at the end, but it just doesn't have the same feel as the other programs.
In any case, I am happy for free programs and I love our library!
