Verkley Christmas/Pajama Party
There is so much to write about that I don't really know where to begin.
I guess I will start with the Verkley Christmas Pajama Party at Maria and Don Green's.
December 21st we headed to get together with the Verkley's for Christmas. The drive was okay until we hit Perth County. We had a few questionable moments but made it safe and sound to Monkton where we enjoyed great food and company. After just a few hours however, it became apparent that we would be staying overnight for a pajama party as hwy 23 was closed.
Hadley is such a party girl and stayed up until everyone went to bed despite my efforts.
The next morning (December 22nd) we enjoyed more great conversation over a delicious breakfast and a game of scrabble before heading into Brian's mom's house for Christmas with her.
Phil, Doreen, and Kiana joined us for a few hours before attempting the roads back home.
We called Lisa and Jeff and wished them a happy first anniversary and enjoyed a very yummy turkey dinner. As well we were spoiled with presents.
We left late but got home safely after a very enjoyable time with family.
