Christmas Tree

On Sunday afternoon Brian, Hadley and I headed to Vandemeer's Nursury  (http://www.vandermeernursery.com/subpages/contact/contactus.htm) where we went to pick out our beautiful balsam fir Christmas tree.  I love this kind of tree mostly because they are full and not prickly.
This year we decided to take our chances on a $40 tree that was tied up nicely at the lot.  We decided to do this because this would allow us to easily place the tree in our trunk with just one seat down.
We have always bought a tree that was opened up so we could see it before we bought it but it has always been a challenge to bring home with just a car.
So this year despite not seeing it up before we got it home, we are fortunate enough to have a beautiful and full tree.
We let it the tree settle for a day before decorating it and then brought out all the decorations for Hadley to explore.  She helped as much as possible but the loops and hooks on the ornaments were a bit difficult for her.
Hadley had the most fun dancing to the Christmas music and adding the tinsel on the tree.
I think she is a little perplexed though as to why there is a tree in our house although she is really well behaved around it.
Today we had Julie come by and she played with Hadley while I wrapped a lot of my Christmas gifts.  (HUGE thanks Julie!)
We shall see in the coming days how Hadley is with keeping the gifts wrapped and under the tree.
