Leap Frog

Today was a busy day.
It started out with Hadley and I heading to the Toronto Zoo to register to be a part of possible record breaking history.
From there we headed to the library where we enjoyed an hour of music and movement put on by the Early Years Centre.
After this it was back to the zoo.  For what...
Well, we made an attempt to break the world record for the most leap froggers.
I know... anyone that knows me knows that frogs are not my favorite.
Despite my own differences with them I am really trying to embrace them as I don't want Hadley to have any fear of them and it is the year of the frog after all.
Anyway, at the event there was a ten foot plus inflatable toad, as well as someone dressed as a toad walking around.
To add to that there was a band, free stickers, posters, magnets as well as free hot chocolate, coffee and tea.  Plus there were reindeer and a camel in the parking lot.
We were there for about two hours but the actual event went for five minutes live on CTV.
The task was to leap frog over other people trying to beat the current record of 1197 people leap frogging in Germany from 1996.
Hadley and I made the attempt but Hadley really just wanted to run around so  most of the five minutes was me leap frogging over her, or just attempting to jump together.
I figure that counts with a one year old.
We don't yet know if we beat the record but it will be posted on the Toronto Zoo website tomorrow if you want to check it out.
