Thanksgiving
This past weekend we enjoyed three Thanksgiving Turkey dinners.
This time with the dads in our lives.
Saturday we met up with Brian's dad, Julie and some extended family on Patti Jo's side of the family. The food and company were great! Hadley especially had a great time with the dogs. John, Patti-Jo and Patrick were kind enough to extend their hospitality to us overnight.
In the morning we enjoyed some bacon and eggs before heading out to meet up with the Verkley extended family at Phil and Doreen's. There we enjoyed a good game of uphill football and my first ever outdoor Thanksgiving feast.
After much great conversation we were again blessed an overnight stay at Phil and Dorren's.
Hadley and Kiana had a great time playing and after our Pancake brunch we headed to meet up with my dad, my sister, her husband Jason, and their son Jayden, my brother and some extended family on Brenda's side of the family.
Again the food was great.
The turkey was HUGE and smoked with lots of leftovers. Smoked turkey was another first for this Thanksgiving. The leftovers were great in sandwiches and tonight in my first ever casserole.
The weather was fantastic this weekend and I am thankful for great food, conversation all of my family both immediate and extended.
