Jayden Christopher
I am now an aunt and I couldn't be happier. This is my first time being an aunt and it is fun already! A new baby around and I still get to sleep at night. :)
My sister gave birth to a beautiful little boy, 20.5 inches long on September 9th at 8:57pm. He was born by C-section for two reasons. 1. He was eleven pounds one ounce (OUCH) and 2. My sister developed gestational diabetes at the end of her pregnancy. Both of these meant a high risk birth, so for the sake of a safe delivery a C-section was chosen.
The time of delivery meant that no visitors could see him on his actual birthday because it was outside of visiting hours. However, I was the first person aside from Jason and Joyce (Grandma Sproat AKA Jason's mom) to see him the next day. He is little, but big.
I remember being so tired just like my sister is and that is why I can't wait to go help her out. I am going for a few days this week and a few days the week after to do what I can to make the transition to parenting a little easier if I can. I am very excited to be able to spend this time with the new family.
Plus I can't wait to introduce Hadley to her new cousin. (She wasn't allowed in the hospital).
Welcome to this world baby Jayden.
