Hello Popcorn Popper Birthday Weekend
This weekend was Lindsay's 30th birthday bash. Brian stayed home to watch Hadley while I partied with Lindsay and the gang downtown Toronto at Milestones. Good husband points as I know he would have loved to have been there also!
Jamie got excellent husband points for putting a birthday wish on a billboard right at Dundas Square where everyone could see it from the restaurant balcony. It came up every 4 minutes from 10pm till 2am. It was good fun to cheer every four minutes all night long! After midnight, we moved the party to Jack Astors for drink as Lindsay's cousin Jeff was working, and then we needed to move the party again, so the party continued back at their condo. I finally left just after 3am, getting me home at about 4am.
I was very tired the next day but it was so much fun.
We went to Toys R Us on Sunday and while shopping Hadley picked up a Fisher Price Popper (http://www.fisher-price.com/us/products/product.asp?id=199) and pushed it around the whole store. She loved this toy so much that we bought it for her. She plays with it ALL the time.
For the first time, Hadley said "hello" while on the phone to my sister yesterday. It was very clear! We keep trying to get her to say it again, but so far it was a one shot deal.
Today was such a nice day that we spent some time down by the Ajax waterfront. LOVELY. The 7-11 slurpie conditions were great, but the sun made it melt so fast!
