Backyard Swimming
Today Brian and I thought it would be a warm enough day to finally try out Hadley's new swimming pool. So we filled it up with hose water and let it sit out in the sun for a bit.
Then in the afternoon we put Hadley in her new full body swimsuit and dipped her toes in to the FRIGID water.
She didn't like it at first but after a while she was in and out playing with the water and toys. I am glad we got the pool that has full sides as otherwise she would have scraped up her legs.
A couple of times she actually went to sit down but then realized the temperature.
We were out there for quite a while as Brian put together her Muskoka chair that she got for her birthday.
After a fun filled afternoon, we emptied the pool.
The pool we got has a drain plug making it so that emptying it is a lot easier. (No need for a mosquito breeding ground).
I went off to baseball by 5:45pm and Brian said she was so tired that she fell asleep somewhere between 6:30pm and 7pm. I guess sun can do that to you.
