Aguinaldo Shower and Verkley Gathering
Saturday I headed to Oakvile to attend a baby shower for my friends Stacey and Sherwin. I went to highschool with Stacey and don't get to see her very often, but she is such a cute pregnant person. They are due to have a little boy in the middle of March so this is very exciting.
After starting out I thought about turning around as their was a lot of white all around, but then the weather got better so I continued on.
The afternoon included good food, party games and of course gift receiving.
Today we were going to attend the Verkley birthday gathering for all the Verkley family members with birthday's in February at Phil and Doreen's but we got as far as Kitchener where we stopped due to weather. We ended up visiting with Brian's dad, and Julie, and were later joined by Patti-Jo and Patrick. It was a good day over all but just a change from the original plan.
It seemed that most roads past Kitchener were in rough condition resulting in people being storm stayed wherever they were. So we didn't go any further.
After a long day awake, Hadley fell asleep on the way home at 7:30pm and has been sleeping ever since...so we shall see how the night goes.
I think I will do a few things around here and then get to bed before 11. :)
Brian is sick so hopefully he can use this evening to rest up and get better.
